Importing multiple bin files into RF4
Hi,
I've downloaded the RF4 demo and am amazed at what can be done with it, so have embarked on a small test project of my own.
I've managed to import the SD data from Cinema 4D, run the sim and got liquid pouring from one box to another. The .bin files (about 5.2 mb each) have saved in the directory while the sim ran. However, my machine fell over, and after a re-boot, I reloaded my .flw file, only to find the animation had been lost. There was just what I assume is the initial state liquid in the RF4 editor.
My question is:
How do I re-load the .bin files into RF4 so I can proceed to make a mesh for export to C4D. I can only see a "load single bin file" option, and at 200 frames, this will take ages to reload the .bins back into RF4.
Is this possible, or do I need to re-run the sim? I assume there must be something I'm missing since I already have the .bin files saved in the project directory and re-running the sim will simply over write what I already have!
Any help much appreciated since I can't wait to get playing with the data in C4D and produce my first liquid animation! RF4 is ace!!!!
Many thanks in advance,
Paul :-)

Re: Importing multiple bin files into RF4
use NBinary Loader, u can import multiple bin sequences with it.
Look Help > Contents > RF4> Emitters > N-Binary Loader

Great! Thanks for the speedy responses :-)
I'll give it a try when I get home later.
All the best,

Re: Importing multiple bin files into RF4
Is the only reason to use nBinloader vs multiple binloaders the ability to combine all those particles into a single sequence through the export central?

Re: Importing multiple bin files into RF4
Go to Export>Update Timeline Cache
This will re-establish your cached files to the timeline, enabling you to mesh your original sim or continue the simulation. Inserting binary loader will work, but its unnecessary.
