Nuclear Water blast

Hi guys,
I'm a student in 3D graphics and VFX and to be graduate we have to work by group and make a project.
I handle the VFX part and i'll want to make a nuclear water blast in RealFlow but i don't know how to do this beacause it's the first time open the software haha :D
Some of you guys, can help me to give me some tips, tutorials or something to make this right ?

Hi !

Well, I think the easiest method is the one I have used for this video:

In this case I have prepared a certain amount of water (the blue particles) sitting inside a box. Then I used a second emitter from under the water surface to emit particles for a limited time at high speed and pushing through the blue water creating such a fountain. When you render this you can use white particles for the fountain and a water mesh for the blue particles.
RF10 standard, System specs: OSX 10.11, MacPro 4.1 2xXeon, GTX980Ti, 64 GB RAM
